Exploring the West Coast of British Columbia Behind the Lens
Our Photography Workshops are ideal for the amateur photographer looking to enhance their outdoor photography skills while capturing coastal wildlife in their natural habitat.
Accompanied by the renowned British Columbian photographer, Kyler Vos, our guests will have a chance to work side-by-side an active professional in the field. We will largely be targeting coastal wolves, black bears, sea-otters, and bald eagles along with some of the most breathtaking remote scenery the coast has to offer.
These trips will be based out of the small boat access only community of Kyuquot, BC, located on the remote Northwest end of Vancouver Island. Guests will be staying in the comfortable cabin quarters at the Kyuquot Inn while taking daily excursion on foot or by Zodiac vessel to find wildlife and visit historical sites. In the evenings, Kyler will be providing photography tutorials and one-on-one feedback after a day of shooting.
Both Bobby and Kyler have many years experience guiding wildlife viewing tours and shooting nature photography along Vancouver Island’s rugged west coast. Bobby has worked alongside some of the world’s best nature photographers building their custom expeditions depending on the wildlife and scenery they are looking for. Kyler locally renowned for his ability to produce some of the best coastal photography in British Columbia. His work can be found all over Vancouver Island, however, his current store location is located in Tofino, BC, The Factory. Together, Bobby and Kyler will combine skill sets to help guests capture that once in a lifetime shot.
Complimentary shuttle service provided in the tour costs that will pick guests up in Nanaimo, BC, easily accessible by BC Ferries and the Nanaimo Airport.
All snacks, meals, and libations are included.
