Hot Springs in the Great Bear Rainforest

The Great Bear Rainforest is riddled with impressive hot springs. They are beautiful, unique and most of all remote. There are few things out there more relaxing than a soaking in a natural hot spring in one of the world’s most pristine rainforests. The surrounding scenery in this particular bay is breathtaking. This particular region of the coast of British Columbia is very rugged and remote, often going multiple days not seeing another boat or person.

This particular hot spring has a added bonus feature, a piped in bath tub! Now it may be circa 1980 but the view from this tub is outrageous.

We spent a classic rainy afternoon in the Great Bear Rainforest, soaking in the hot spring then running down for a quick splash in the cold ocean.
